Rev Vukile Mehana B Th & MB
Rev. Vukile Mehana is the Executive Chairman of Sterling.
Rev. Mehana began his career in Human Resource Management and Organisational Transformation. He subsequently progressed
to Senior Strategic Management positions, including acting as Managing Director of some of South Africa’s most prominent firms.
He serves as Chairman and Non-Executive Director on an impressive number of Committees and Company Boards.
Rev. Mehana is an ordained Minister of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa. He is also one of the founding members of the
ANC’s Commission for Religious Affairs. Being equally at home behind the podium as well as in the pulpit, he has been given
permission by the Church to exercise his considerable talents in the corporate world.
Mr. Con Bruce B. Econ. Hons. (B&A)
Con is the Managing Director at Sterling.
Having started out in the commercial branch network of Barclays Bank, Con progressed to Old Mutual Asset Management, where,
as a Senior Investment Fund Manager, he gained considerable experience in investment markets, portfolio structuring and performance
analysis. His seventeen years of financial and investment experience stand him in excellent stead as CEO of Sterling, where he also
plays an integral part in client relationship management.
Con is an avid skier, being equally at home on both water and snow. His favourite travel destinations include the Cô'te d’Azur
and the Swiss Alps. His chief dislike is poor service, a viewpoint that strongly concurs with the team at Sterling.

Mr. Andrew Jones-Phillipson B.Agric. Admin; B.Com. Hons. (Financial Management)
Andrew is the Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director at Sterling.
Prior to co-founding the Sterling Group in 1993, Andrew was a Senior Investment Fund Manager with Old Mutual Investments,
where he managed relationships with a range of retirement fund clients in an investment advisory capacity. Andrew gained invaluable
expertise in market analysis, risk management and portfolio construction, and specialised in asset allocation.
At Sterling, Andrew established the investment consulting division and formalised its policies, processes and strategies. In addition
to client management, his responsibilities include asset allocation and portfolio construction, manager research and selection and
portfolio hedging strategies.
From time to time, Andrew escapes his office to enjoy the natural beauty of his favourite local destination, Kariega River Mouth.
Among his favourite reads are The Alchemist by Paul Coelho and Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand.

Mr. Lindikhaya Sipoyo BA, Postgraduate Diploma in Management, MPA Special
Lindikhaya is a Director at Sterling.
Lindikhaya spent six years heading the Information and Communications department in Parliament, focusing in Provincial and
Municipal Liaison. Before that he was Programmes and Financial Director for the World University Service South Africa, a funding
conduit based in Geneva. WUS SA was a social development institution focusing on Education, Health, Repatriation of Ex-Political
Prisoners and Exiles and Public Policy initiatives in the late 1980’s to 1998.
He is also the current Chief Operations Officer for Imbewu Mineral Resources, a diamond mining and exploration company, with
resources in platinum and diamond, and has business relationships with leading mining houses in South Africa.
He is a director and shareholder of both Miganu Property Development, (BEE consortium partner in the R 1,4b Growth Point deal)
as well as JBB Development Holdings, a residential and agricultural property development company.
Lindikhaya is a Trustee of the Mantoba Trust, a beneficiary of the 91 million Bantu Bonke ABSA shares, which were redistributed
to social development institutions. And last but not least, as Chairperson of the Gugulethu Community Development Corporation
Trust, he was responsible for championing the rehabilitation of homes after the 1999 Tornado Disaster.
Mr. Greg Pullin CFP®
Greg is the Employee Benefits Consultant at Sterling.
Greg has accumulated an impressive 26 years experience in employee benefits administration and consulting, holding senior positions
at Old Mutual, Alexander Forbes and First Bowring Consultants and Actuarial Services.
He joined Sterling in 2001 and is responsible for employee benefit consulting and support. Never one to shy away from a challenge,
Greg thrives on the diversification of the Sterling client base.
When he isn’t consulting with clients, Greg enjoys reading, photography, aviation research, building scale models and playing
strategic war games. He can also whip up a mean Thai curry.
Greg is a member of the Pension Lawyers Association.
